10th International Organ Competition "Marcello Galanti"

We are proud to announce the winner of the 10th international Marcello Galanti organ competition: mr. Leonardo Carrieri!
He was chosen by the jury panel among the three final competitors during the evening concert on sunday 4th, and he also obtained the audience plaudit.
The three finalists were chosen, in turn, among the 15 competitors, and are: ms. Ayumi Kitamura (Japan), who won the 2nd prize, mr. Gabor Nagy (Hungary), who won the 3rd prize and mr. Leonardo Carrieri (Italy), who won the 1st prize.
A special "Marcello Galanti" prize was assigned to Leonardo Carrieri by the audience for the best performance.
The competition organ was the UNICO 500, for the first time on the stage of the Marcello Galanti organ competition.
Special guests to the evening concert were the Danish soprano singer Lykke Anholm, accompanied on a Viscount piano by Lorenzo Gamboni.
The whole happening ended with a buffet aperitif in the Galanti museum, during which the audience could appreciate the museum instruments as well as the UNICO 500.
